The tub spout in our guest bathroom was showing its age. In the photo above you can see how the metal was eroding from the outlet.
We tried replacing the spout with
this one because that's what the guy at Lowe's gave to Chrissy and it turned out to be an abysmal piece of crap. It was a nightmare to install, damaged the copper pipe, and it leaked. Three strikes. We returned it and got a
Mixet, which is what the old one was. It's installation was effortless and it didn't leak. That's all I can ask for.
